I'm thrilled and very happy to share that I was invited to attend this year's Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Hyderabad, India on 27-30 November, 2017.
I see GES as an exceptional chance to meet fellow change makers from all over the world and a unique opportunity to attend plenary and master sessions to learn from outstanding experts.
I'm especially excited because...
1. This Year's Theme is Women First, Prosperity for All
I co-founded The Millennial Women Network to share stories about young women leaders and to inspire other women to embark on a journey to leading change.
Since we launched the platform, we've been getting a massive amount of positive feedback and our community has been growing rapidly.
I'm SO delighted to be able to share my GES experience with this awesome community!
2. I Can't Wait to Learn about Other Participants' Projects
What I like the most in conferences and summits is that I can meet forward thinking innovators from many different countries and industries and I can learn about what they do and why they do it.
There's a personal story behind each project and I'm ready to find out about these from fellow participants and get inspired!
1,500 entrepreneurs will attend the summit and we already started connecting via the GES2017 app and social groups. We're busy scheduling meetings, creating shared spreadsheets with all of our goals, so we can help each other get the most out of it.
The energy and the excitement in these groups are palpable already and we haven't even landed in India...
3. It Takes Place in a Truly Special Country - India
Before the summit kicks off on Tuesday evening with a plenary session about Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership, I'll have nearly two days to explore Hyderabad with a group of European GES participants.
I'd love to see the Charminar, the Buddha statue on the Hussain Sagar Lake, and the bazaars in the "City of Pearls"...
